We started with a frustration. The best teas we encountered were buried in complexity — obscure grading systems, overwrought ceremony, and packaging that felt designed to intimidate rather than invite.

TEA INDEX is our answer to that. A numbered catalogue of teas we believe in, presented simply and honestly. No mythology. No unnecessary ritual. Just quality tea, clearly explained.

The Approach

Every tea in the index is selected at origin. We visit growing regions, taste across harvests, and choose only what earns a place in the catalogue.

We work with producers who share our standards — people who understand that quality is built in the field and the processing room, not in the marketing.
