TEA INDEX is a considered catalogue of exceptional Chinese teas. Each entry is assigned a number, a grade, and a purpose — selected not for novelty, but for quality and character.
Philosophy
We believe the best teas don't need elaborate storytelling. They need careful selection, honest presentation, and the right context to be appreciated.
The INDEX system is our way of doing that. A numbered catalogue — spare, precise, and easy to navigate — that lets the tea speak for itself.
Sourcing
All teas in the TEA INDEX collection are sourced directly from producing regions across China. We work with growers and processors who share our commitment to quality — selecting teas at origin, not from a distributor's catalogue.
The Grading System
Chinese teas are graded by leaf quality, processing precision and flavour character. Our INDEX numbers reflect that hierarchy — not as a ranking of worth, but as a guide to experience.
The Index Grows
The TEA INDEX collection is deliberately small. Each new entry is added only when we find a tea that earns its place. We are not in a hurry.
