Tea Index selects its matcha from an established Chinese producer headquartered in Hangzhou, with production facilities in Hangzhou and Xinyang. By combining the tea-growing resources and production expertise of both regions, the producer supplies Chinese matcha to international markets at scale.

Its production facilities use more than 500 advanced matcha grinding machines, with temperature-controlled grinding environments maintained below 10°C to help preserve the matcha's vibrant colour and quality.

The producer maintains extensive tea gardens, including certified organic cultivation, and holds European and US organic certification through KIWA-BCS. Its matcha is exported internationally, including to European and North American markets.
